Quick Release Plates?

Need some ideas,
I currently have one of these, and find it a bit sloppy.

Something for the T2i, it needs to be solid as the Follow Focus can put some torque around that axis.

I finally settled on using the tripod plates and gave up on the quick releases with a ball mount. This is what I'm currently using.
