Question about using Premiere Pro, and importing.

My program keeps having a problem with one of the video shots. Whenever I try to import it, it will not and reads:

"unsupported format or damaged file"

However, it imported before, just fine. I have had to constantly remind the program to bring back this one shot, cause it's always off line. The only difference between this shot compared to all the rest is that I added VFX into it. Yet the program constantly has problems with it, even though everytime I fix it, it will play just fine. But now it will not accept it at all, and it just says that.

Any ideas on how to fix this, so it will keep it for good?

If it's not drive issues (you could have a hard drive failing on you) my guess would be you exported it with some alternate settings/codec after "adding VFX to it" that Premiere doesn't like.
