Proper Introduction

My name is Kenneth T. Smith. I am a composer. Seriously. I don't wish to flood threads with hallow plugs for my music. I am very serious about my work, just as most of the filmmakers, casts, and crews are serious about their work. This is a VERY competitive field and is not to be entered into lightly. I only wish to contact filmmakers and production companies that show serious merit.

That being said, I am a classically trained composer and performer. I have composed music for an array of different ensembles. Even in concert music, imagery is EVERYTHING. This is why I'm drawn to film.

I DO NOT recycle music unless I am paid well for it. But, I understand credit AND experiences. Writing music for film is no easy task BUT, short films are most attractive to me based on time.

If you hear anything you like, contact me. I CAN write an ORIGINAL score for film credit. I do NOT do sound design. But, I can provide digital copies of my written scores for any commission's review. ALSO, any post-recording mixing will need to be performed by the sound designer.

Really enjoying listening to The Harvest Moon. I'm curious to know how you located (hired?) the musicians, if you're willing to share. Also, did you conduct many / all some of these pieces yourself? You can PM me too if these are your trade secrets. Don't want to put you on the spot.
