Press kit synopsis

Stupid question..
I'm putting together a feature movie press kit for festivals, and not entirely sure about synopsis. Do I need to write out an entire story (from beginning to end) or just enough to grab reader's attention to make them watch the movie?

I get mixed search results and wanted to hear your opinions.
