Premiere Pro question

Premiere Pro question

Okay… I hope I posted this in the rite spot. I am using Adobe Premiere Pro and I’m fairly new to it. I am trying to take a snapshot of a frame so I can edit it in Photoshop. My ultimate goal is to take the last frame of my video and have it freeze for an ‘x’ amount of time. At the same time, I’d like to go in and edit the frame and have the original frame “transform” into the new edited frame… am I making sense? I tried just cutting the frame out and change the duration to an ‘x’ amount but then I can’t open it in Photoshop. About 3 years ago I was using windows movie maker (it was the first time I experimented with any video program) and it had a snapshot button that would take a picture of the current frame and save it as a .jpg or something. If there is a way to do this with Premiere Pro please let me know.

Thanks in advance,

Just cue up the marker to the frame you want and go to:

File > Export > Frame

Name it, save it, edit it.

Careful- some 60i cameras tend to "fuzz up" (aka interlaceify) the pics.
