produce animations in flash and after effects and do minumun editing (as is the nature of animation) in premiere pro 1.5. I then take either uncompressed AVIs, Quicktimes or BMP sequences on an external hard drive to post to get put to digibeta for broadcast.
Now I quite fancy skipping the middle man and upping my toy count by buying a second-hand digibeta machine but I have no idea what additional hardware would be required or the process involved in getting from premiere to digibeta tape broadcast quality.
I assume that to capture back from digibeta to AVI I will need a capture card. do i need to get a matrox digisuite LE? it seems very old technology to me.
I dont want to go for the most expensive system, just one that will do the job! (with one eye on the future
