I am a film student in desperate need for a student written, 10 page screen play. I will pay!

I need a basic 10 page screen play!

I am looking for something not too professional looking / sounding, as I would like to make a few adjustments to it myself.

Seriously dude? You're in film school, but you don't want to write a ten page screenplay? I never set foot in a film class and I write and film almost everyday...At the expense of almost my entire life.

You bleed for your work or you go home because every bone in your body has to be passionately driven to create something that will tell people something about themselves...and if you're not willing to stay up all night and write a simple ten page screenplay then you should do something else.

Just write one. Even if it's the worst screenplay ever, at least you did something.

Yes I am in film school and yes I am paying for it myself.

I honestly have more important things to deal with right now, and have not been able to find the time to buckle down to write a screen play.

I should have expected comments back like this, but you could have been nicer about it. I have a lot on my plate right now, and was just asking for a little help.

So yes, I still need a 10 page screen play, and yes I need it by tomorrow morning.

Super last minute, but this is why I am attempting to reach out to some people online....

Sorry about that. I'm a little cold sometimes, but I guess that's because I feel like everyone's going through a lot of shit. Take me for instance.

I work at a shitty ass bottom-of-the-barrel job, live with people I don't particularly care for, no girlfriend, hardly any friends or social life, an ass load of student loans to pay off, and to top it all off, I'm having to deal with an alcoholic mother who can't seem to get on the right track. But, I ALWAYS find time to write and make movies.

So yeah, I mean we're all dealing shit, yet what defines those who define a generation are those qualities, which allow them to overcome all the bullshit in life...Or at least, that's part of the equation.

Anyway, sorry you're going through a lot of shit. Hope your ten-page screenplay works out. If all else fails, just write bullshit. College professors usually skim through papers anyway.

I really appreciate the response. Your words have truly inspired me to begin working on my ten pager. I'll probably be awake for the next few hours, but atleast i'll feel as if I have accomplished something.

Did you graduate with a film degree? Man, makes me worried that i'll have a difficult time finding a job out of school, but I guess I wont worry about that now. This is legit my first time writing on this forum, I signed up today, completely last minute in a desperate attempt to get some help with this assignment.

We all have things to cope with in life. Currently, i'm facing Felony charges in the state of NC for possession of Marijuana. I made a few big mistakes, but will surely learn from this at the end of the day. Who knows, maybe my story will play out to be a good screen play.

As for you, friend, I hope you find your way. Life is short, so I guess from a few experiences I have had, it just takes gettin out there, not giving a fuck, and living how you want to live. I sit in class, my fourth year in school, thinking about how my charges are going to play out and whether or not i'm going to even be able to graduate down here. I got to school at The University of North Carolina, Wilmington.

I feel for you brother. pura vida.

My brother and I made this, as we pretty much did with all of our films since we were kids. I don't have much to show, I'll admit but I guess that's because I just got out of a six year existential crisis. My brother is the one who was formally trained. I never set foot in a film class nor have I ever taken an English class that was above the minimum requirements. I just always did film and photography whenever I wasn't doing anything else.

Anyway, after years of studying a number of academic fields, I realized that I'm completely useless and that I morbidly hate every job that was out there for me. So after a horrible last semester, I finally graduated and decided to just do what i always loved...Film.

Now, the problem is I don't have a resume that will land me a decent job in that field. So, I'm just writing screenplays and making movies that are affordable for us. That's what its all about. You have to come up with the perfect cheap movie and just make it.

It takes time, but once you get that taste of enthrallment after crafting that perfect scene, you become addicted. Then suddenly, everything else feels numb and the only thing that matters is attaining that feeling once more. It's better than any drug or woman out there.
