I recently created a pitch deck for a feature film based on a spec script. I would like some advice on what to include or omit.
The three main concerns I had are the following:
1. I had difficulty coming up with recent comparables in the spy/thriller genre. I was concerned about including them because a couple films were over 10 years old, and it might give the wrong impression about cost and budgeting. Is it possible to estimate production cost based on a pitch deck?
2. I was also concerned about including the Beat Sheet. Perhaps that's too much. Should that be omitted?
3. Would a story that is highly political in nature scare away any potential investor?
And if you're interested here is a shared link to the pitch deck called CodeName Kraken.
