Paperwork. Forms. Etc.

Okay. I had my actors sign an agreement that I don't have to pay 'em anything since I essentially can't. If somehow my films get picked up a distribution company or production company (by the by, anyone got some advice on how to do this?), are they entitled to getting paid from the company?

I have original music from a musician for my movie. Anyone know where I can get the template for an film music agreement between me and him?

I shot at locations guerilla style, most of 'em. If my movie gets sold or picked up, how will this clash legally? And anyone know where I can get locations release forms templates?

I really wanna get my movie noticed -- like, win a festival, get picked up by a studio, and make some profit and recognition. I would like some in depth advice on this. That'd be cool.

Mine aren't handy, but I found them all on the net. Sonnyboo has a few forms on his website as well. To be 100% covered you'd need to have them reviewed by an attorney in your state, but in general, they should cover you (the ones you can find on the net).

The actors signed an agreement to perform for some amount of money (zero), and a release giving you the right to use and abuse their images any way you saw fit (or I hope they did). If they signed such an agreement, you could sell the film for 100 million and they are entitled to exactly zero.

An agreement for the owner of the music to sign giving you rights to use it only in conjunction with the film is available on the net, as is a location release. If you don't get location releases signed, the risk you run is a lawsuit later if the film became worth something.
