Panasonic P2 Card Footage NOT IN ORDER!

Why is the footage I shoot on my P2 not in chronological order? How do I fix this?

UPDATE: I may have figured it out...but still...what is with the random numbers and letters in the titles of each clip?! There seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.
