Other Worlds Austin is currently accepting submissions for both its Film and Screenplay competitions.* In only its third year, OWA has already become an important launching pad for Science Fiction filmmaking in the US. The film competition is open to Features, Shorts, and Fan Films in both SciFi and Horror.* The Screenwriting Contest is open to SciFi Features, Shorts, and three categories of teleplays: pilots, specs, and retro-specs. *The Earlybird Film Deadline is April 30th.* The Screenplay Contest has its regular deadline on June 30th.* More information and discounts can be found on*www.otherworldsaustin.com.
