editing Opening scene for Quickie

Getting close to finishing our short "quickie in da kitchen", woot!
Weekend by weekend, slowly shooting and putting the footage together, like a great Puzzle :-)

Got my sound guy working on the audio as well. Hope to be done with this bad boy by the end of december :yes:

You know what, though? I think I got your solution to the worries of the trademarked image. Cut that shot a little shorter. I actually feel like the shot lingers too long. When he looks at the yellow pages, we got it. No need to let it linger so long. I understand you wanted to do a rack-focus, but to be honest, it's totally not needed -- the audience knows what he is looking at. I would cut this shot just right before the rack-focus begins. Tighter cut, no trademarked image, BOOM!
