Online Television/Channels for film distribution?

Hello there,

I've recently finished an independent film and have been looking into distribution.

I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about online channels, or online television? It seems like this would be a great method to get some or even many viewers, or if the channel was big enough even find a home for your work.
