In pre-production, I've got some question on legal references in my film:
1. Can I show video game consoles and controllers in a scene?
2. Can I show the game on screen while playing?
3. Can I show posters in the backround that are of films or albums?
4. Can I reference brands and music if it's a neutral context? (not defamation or anything like that)
To make clear, all of these are old. Such as a very outdated video game console and old movies. So nothing that's too relevant these days.
Also, what of showing hard copies of music? Such as a cassette tape or vinyl if I don't play it?
