Anyone know the best setting (shooting in HD) for achieving that over-cranked old silent era Chaplin film look? 18fps? Just shoot in 24p and remove frames in the timeline?

Was curious if anyone has a workflow or samples of this. Cheers.

They were shooting at 18 frames per second.

Shoot 24 Fps, then use POSTERIZE TIME to get that look.

Yeah the old silents were shot (and screened) at 18fps. The sped up look is a result of us playing them back at the modern speed of 24fps.

So if you keep that in mind, it shouldn't be hard to reproduce.
