Hello everyone. I'm new here. I wanted to share with you a short film we just finished up for the Rhode Island 48hr Film Festival. Each team is given the same prop, line of dialog, and character to implant into their film. And each team pulls a unique genre from a hat--our genre was 'holiday.'
Our Team: Scorpio Film Releasing
Our genre: Holiday
The Prop: a pear
The line of dialog: "If you see him again, tell me."
The character: Monty Chaney, a hair stylist.
Keep in mind, this entire film was written, shot, and edited in only 48hrs. All of the VFX were handled through FTP in one day. Our Fx guy lives in Arizona, and we live in Rhode Island...ahhh, the beauty of technology.
The first screening has already happened, and the final round of voting will be August 10th. Wish us luck.
