You ever wonder why we can't see the early films from the big-name directors? Perhaps they're wise enough to keep them hidden; wouldn't want to ruin the illusion that they were just born genius.

Kudos to Aronofsky for allowing some of his earliest films to remain online. I think the humility of these productions can serve as inspiration for us little folk. Yes, even the most sought-after directors started with humble beginnings.

Ha, I wasn't expecting that. Kind of gives me a bit of confidence, in a strange way.
