Noob messed up in vegas 12, any help?

IN one of my time lines I accidently set the project template for 1440x1080 instead of 1920x1080. all the other time lines (I have 5 of them) are 1920x1080.

How can I change this 1440 to 1080? I tried rendering it by typing in HD 1080-24p (1920x1080, 23.976 fps)
in the name section when you go to render footage. but it didn't do anything. despite the fact I had to wait 30 minutes for it do what ever it is it did.

use H.264 1080p 23.976 instead of whatever codec vegas is trying to use. Within the render window there should also be a checkbox where you can mark "match to source" that should match the dimensions and framerate of your source footage, rendering it as such.

thanks but I meant to say how can I change this 1440x1080 so it's 1920x1080.

it would always say "MXF at the end of it. when I recorded it in MXP or maybe that part has nothing to do with it.

hey doods. I went to file-propterties and found "HD 1080-24p (1920x1080, 23.976 fps)" under the templates. after I clicked on it, switched rom 1440x1080 to 1920x1080.
seemed to easy for comfort but I don't think the problem wasn't even that hard to fix to begin with if you knew what was up.
and ya. presets 4 life.
