Ever heard of Vodo? It's like Kickstarter, but for finished films. People can download your film for free through torrents and then they have the option to donate. You in return offer incentives for them to donate. My film recently launched on their site, so have a LOOK and see if it's something that might work for you!

I just checked out one movie that has 900 downloads and 3 comments. Quite a few have similar numbers. I know you don't have to comment to donate. But, you would figure if you really enjoyed something enough to donate to the creator, you'd want to spread the word.
It seems like a good last resort to just getting your movie out there.
