If I had to guess I'd say the required character was "Buddy Kant" and the dialog was probably the "Isn't it ironic?" line... not sure on the required prop though.

The subject was Sci-Fi, the character name: Buddy Kant, Occupation: Philosophy Instructor, Line of dialog: Chalk it up to dumb luck, prop: greeting card (sitting on the back seat of the car when he gets the gun.)
