This surreal period piece, written, produced and directed by Jocelyn Padilla with co-director Nathan Suher, focuses on a young starlet Norma Jeane, who dies a mysterious death. When she awakens, she finds herself in a womb-like realm, a limbo between the past and the future.

Norma Jean, portrayed by Andrea Kinch, glances at her reflection in a magical mirror to find she is no longer in her own familiar body. She is now "The Woman in the Womb" played by Jocelyn Padilla. With the help of her spirit guide Laine, she quickly learns that passage from one realm into the next can only be achieved by facing a series of challenges. One must be subjected to their past misfortunes and sins along with the happy memories in order to move on.

However, things are quickly shaken up when horrific images appear in the mirror. 'Red Death,' an evil, mysterious succubus portrayed by Lindsey E. Cork, plays minds games and tries desperately to keep 'The Woman In The Womb' from progressing. The question is will 'The Woman in Womb' find the strength within herself to end this circle of hate or will she fall prey to Red?

"The word Monroe translates in most languages as 'mouth of the river'. As the film explores the topic of death and rebirth, water and the womb go hand in hand. I wrote this film to show the world a unique interpretation of what happens to our souls when we cross over." -Jocelyn Padilla

I'm clearly not the audience for this so I'll refrain from giving my two cents on the story. However, technically, there are two easy-to-fix mistakes that I'd like to point out:
- The still chosen on vimeo to represent your Indiegogo video is not by far the best shot in the thing. It has overblown highlights, the actress' hair and expression aren't optimal and the period-telephone looks out of place. A shot like 0:25 is technically way stronger and would probably attract more people to watch it (also given that it raises questions, which the other one doesn't really do).
- Your summary of the story is interwoven with the names of cast and crew that 99% of the people are not going to know. I know this is harsh because all worked hard and you want to credit where credit is due, but it really doesn't help get people interested. Just pitch the story, let people decide if they want to watch it, then show the credits. Don't clutter your pitch with credits unless you've got big names.
