My first video

Hello everyone! Criticize my first video. Explain my mistakes to me. Advise what to do better next time. Thank you all so much for the help!

It kind of reminds me of the How It's Made TV show; the pacing, music, and shots... you should watch it for some tips on narration and editing.

I didn’t make it very far in. I’m sure it’s something that model enthusiasts will watch all the way through, but 8 minutes of a single, locked-down shot got very boring very quickly.

IT’s suggestion is great. What I’ll add to that is to get your camera out of auto-exposure and auto-white balance. When you opened the top of the packaged model kit, the auto-exposure kicked in and reduced exposure, making the contents of the box just a big section hidden in underexposed shadow. As the pieces were laid out in your stop-motion, the color kept shifting a little as each piece was added. Manually exposing and white balancing your camera will avoid these issues.
