I'm new to these forums. I think I posted a while back, but not sure if that account was still active.
I've found my passion in filmmaking in CEGEP (A quebec pre-university college), and since then I've taken a year off of school to work as a PA on set of films here in Montreal, and now I'm second year in Concordia University studying film.
A new passion of mine is shooting on 16mm. We shoot at school with bolex super 16 film cameras, and I love it! I love lighting, I love shooting, and I love not knowing what you've got until it's been developed. Not sure why I love it so much, just the sheer excitement of it all. It's not like digital where there's hardly any guess work, you just get everything you see right away. It's not as exciting IMO.
