Movies/scripts you wish you'd written?

What films/screenplays do you wish you had written? When you read that logline or see that film that just makes you ask "why didn't I think of that first?!"

I'm not talking the obvious money makers/blockbusters which are more to do with marketing and big name actors, I'm talking the really original, one off trend setters or the unique plots that seem to inspire others. A lot were made for a small-ish budget and ended up making either a ton of money or a huge cult following (or both!).

One Hour Photo (2002)
An employee of a one-hour photo lab becomes obsessed with a young suburban family.

Great idea, and the execution was great. Really underrated film and Robin Williams is great in a serious role.

Exam (2009)
The final candidates for a highly desirable corporate job are locked together in an exam room and given a test so simple and confusing that tension begins to unravel.

Really low budget, one location and character driven, this was really well executed, the director/writer really made the most out of the concept

Cube (1997)
7 complete strangers of widely varying personality characteristics are involuntarily placed in an endless kafkaesque maze containing deadly traps.

One of my favourite ever films. This really spawned the whole 'one location' horror thriller genre. Love the simple nature of it and it's a real nail biter

Triangle (2009)
The story revolves around the passengers of a yachting trip in the Atlantic Ocean who, when struck by mysterious weather conditions, jump to another ship only to experience greater havoc on the open seas.

I won't spoil it, but the complex nature of the plot, the twists and turns and the way you'll be racking your brain after seeing it really separates this from the rest - wish I had this written before Christopher Smith did!

Grand Piano (2013)
Moments before his comeback performance, a concert pianist who suffers from stage fright discovers a note written on his music sheet.

Not released yet and I obviously haven't seen it, but completely original and has so much potential. Could be realised on a very low budget and really takes the one location genre in another direction
