Most useful equipment to buy?

Whats the most useful piece of equipment that you've used on any shoots for getting nice shots? It could be lens, steadicam, spider tracks, power generator, arri lights.

Im trying to buy equipment, but I need to buy the most useful equipment first. I have a camera and lights and a mic so far.

It is possible to rank a MOST useful? It totally depends on what you will shoot. And also, it's a combination of elements, not a single one.

For example, I'm very happy with a slider I bought. But what is a slider without a good camera with a good lens for a specific purpose? And more, what is a good camera if your light is ugly on the scene? And more, what is this if the project needs another thing?

I can't think about a "most important" at all. Define what you need in every single project, in my opinion.

Depending of the camera, a rig might be the very first thing you'll need. Whether it is a simple shoulder rig or a steadicam, it depends on you, but you just can't handle a DSLR with your bare hands.
