I don't know why I wrote that title. Just to get people's attention, probably.
Anyway, my name is Steve Janas, and I am the director of one film, The Tolltaker, and writer/producer of another, called Trashed. The feature-length script for The Tolltaker was a semi-finalist in the 2005 Nicholl Fellowship screenwriting competition. I adapted it into a partly-animated short film, which is being finished now (animation is a bear to deal with). Here's the trailer on YouTube:

The other one's called "Trashed." It's the true story of a young man who falls victim to drug addiction and suicide, and of the efforts of his parents to win custody of their grandson from his addict mother. The film exists only as a script now, but I was able to create a trailer for it from home video footage of the actual young man who took his own life. The trailer is here:
