Modern Life? presents 'TEN DEAD MEN'

Modern Life? in association with Australian based Vitascope Filmed Entertainment are proud to announce the start of filming of 'Ten Dead Men', the second feature from cult director Ross Boyask ('Left For Dead'; 'Pure Vengeance') and award winning independent producer Phil Hobden.

‘Ten Dead Men’: You can’t outrun your past. That is the extremely painful lesson that Ryan (Brendan Carr) is learning right now. One single, tragic event has caused his normal life to explode around him, leaving him a life of gruelling torture and bloodshed as spectres of Ryan’s past life have returned to haunt him, destroying the one thing he held dear. Ten Men destroyed his life, and now Ten Men are going to pay.

Ten Dead Men combines the bleak atmosphere of Get Carter and The French Connection, with the verve and kinetic energy of modern day thrillers such as Narc and Unleashed.

Executive Produced by multi-award winning Australian producer David Hannay and Vitascope Filmed Entertainment, whose credits include cult biker classic 'Stone' and martial arts classic 'The Man From Hong Kong' (which formed a key inspiration for Quentin Tarantino's 'Kill Bill'), executive produced by Richard Turner and starring elite UK action and acting talent including the award winning Brendan Carr, Terry Stone and John Rackham as well as special appearances by Silvio Simac and highly acclaimed martial arts champion Cecily Fay.

With action and stunts directed by leading UK action director Jude Poyer, 'Ten Dead Men' will once again utilise the behind the scenes talent that made 'Left For Dead' both a commercial and critical success.

Production started in September 2006 and will be filmed in locations around London, Eastbourne, Brighton and Sussex using new Sony High Definition camera technology, as pioneered by filmmakers such as Michael Mann.

‘Ten Dead Men’ will feature a cast and crew with credits on films such as ‘Left For Dead’, ‘Batman Begins’, ‘Charlie And The Chocolate Factory’ (2005), ‘Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy’ (2005), 'Rollin’ With The Nines', 'Hell To Pay', ‘The Purifiers’, ‘DOA: Dead Or Alive’; ‘Black Mask 2’; ‘The Man From Hong Kong‘, ‘Love Struck’, ‘Intergalactic Combat’ (2005), ‘The Silencer’, ‘Mainline Run’, ‘Distant Shadow’, ‘Sleepy Hollow’, John Woo's ‘A Better Tomorrow 2’ and more.

The film will be released in 2007 and will be featured in a series of articles in the international martial arts and action film magazine ‘Impact’.
