i personally liked him in sin city but i thought that someone a bit better known would have won best actor

He really should have, but is it any surprise Sean Penn won? After the Proposition 8 debacle Hollywood was bound to make a stand against it. This was their way.

Mickey Roarke just got best actor on the IFC Independent Awards!
He go a standing ovation and gave the longest acceptance speech I've ever heard in a long time.
