Matchmove -- FOR FREE!

Ever wanted to do those cool matchmoving effects, but the $5000 and up price tags on the programs was a deterent? Me too..

Check this out, I just found this site with video tutorials about HOW to do it, and a link to "Icarus" which is a free program, and the predecessor of PFTrack (available from the acclaimed Pixel Farm in the UK, to the tune of about $5k). Worth a look anyway, since it's free.

There's a windows version and a mac version, links to both are on this tutorial site.

Thank Will, it looks good. Since Im not planning many of the CG shots, I dont think Ill need it for that, but the bullet time type shots can have their advantages, having one still character and a moving background or vice versa.
