Total novice here, just curious more than anything.
Was just wondering how making a movie about a public(semi public etc) persons life works in term of rights etc, for example I have a good idea for a script about someone that had some media exposure and had a story to tell. Say I was to write a script, would you have to approach them and ask permission etc or how does it work?
In reality I could never afford to make a movie obviously, but you never know maybe a could sell a script.
