business Making an LLC Production Company

Hey you all, I am currently in the process of setting up and LLC.

I was curious if others have done this already and could help me out with something. Did you make yourself the registrar for the company through the sate office, or did you pay for a registrar when making your company?

I am debating using something like legalzoom or similar to pay them as the registrar, but wanted to see if others payed for this and why.

I am the registrar, owner, and "managing member" for the LLC's for my 2 features.

Our director and producing partner is the registrar for the latest LLC. Three of us are managers of the LLC. I was the registrar for the previous two films.

LLC is always good, but I would recommend talking to a lawyer with knowledge in entertainment law. Where do you reside?
