Thanks for the thread indie!
Maia Entertainment is just a little corner of the web where you can find some really fine independent short films and more. We started this to get our projects out there and have expanded it to support other fellow filmmakers. To this end we created...
The Chicago "Really" Short Film Fest
There is no other fest that does what we do I can guarantee that. We are going into our third year this coming spring 2006 and will have more news as long as indie lets me post it somewhere. In the past we have collaborated with other parties including IndieTalk to get the filmmaker more exposure and will do so in the future.
We are also the creators of special podcast/videocast called...
The Filmmaker Commentary Series
We take short films post them online for the world to see then we interview the filmmaker to get some insight into what went into getting the film made. We've already screened and interviewed Cootdog and his film Scarred For Life. Soon we will post films from other fellow IndieTalk filmmakers Poke and Sonnyboo.
So check us out and maybe next year your film will be at The Chicago "Really" Short Film Fest and also be a part of The Filmmaker Commentary Series.
