The Los Angeles Post Production Group (LAPPG) will be meeting at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 11th. This is a member driven organization for anyone with an interest or passion for the post-production process.
This month, Jay Miracle, an award-winning editor, producer and director, will discuss his work as editor on the Emmy-award winning documentary “Hearts of Darkeness: A Filmmaker’s Apocalypse,” chronicling Francis Ford Coppola’s Oscar-winning “Apocalypse Now.” Hearts of Darkness has won several awards, including an American Cinema Editors award for "Best Edited Documentary,” two Academy of Television Arts and Sciences awards for "Outstanding Individual Achievement - Informational Programming - Directing" and "Outstanding Individual Achievement - Informational Programming - Picture Editing", and the International Documentary Association award, 1992.
