Looking for similar indie films...

Hey everyone,

I am pitching a feature film in a couple weeks time and I know the judges are going to ask me about films that compare to mine, their budgets and box office returns.

The best films I think compare to the one I am producing are Blue Valentine and Take this Waltz. Does anyone else know of any independently financed films that were about tragic love, were made in the last decade and were in the $1 million budget region?

I am wracking my brain but not having a lot of luck.

a English movie called Shame i think it was released 2012, it did pretty good at the box office if i recall correctly
