We shot a monologue scene for one of the actresses that was going to be in Leading Lady. We got an actress to fill in as the lead (redhead) and we shot it at Jane's (blonde) apartment this past week. So this is not what would have been in the movie.
It's a long monologue, so obviously I don't want to put the whole thing in a reel. I just want to highlight the best parts (I personally think she did a great job).
I have a partial edited scene between the two actresses, and one that's just her two CUs.
To eliminate the possible casting agent from turning off the reel because he doesn't like the editing of the phony scene. Would it be better to just use parts of her CUs?
I've never put a reel together for anyone, and since this is like an apology gift I want it to be good.
