Lighting For Video -- PBL Mixlight / Starlite QL / Mole Richardson

Hi!

I have a film background. I love Mole Richardson lights... However, I'm setting off to shoot a feature on digital (5d mark ii or blackmagic 2.5k) -- To get a stark Mole Richardson light, do I need Mole Richardson lights? :cool:

I have been looking into buying PBL Mixlights or the Starlite QL -- how do those differ or compare? Are they softer light than something like the Mole Richardson lights that I'm used to? Is it good to have all of the above in your gaffing tool kit?
