LA based musician for collaboration

I'm an aspiring musician in Los Angeles area who would also like to get into film -- writing, producing, acting, perhaps -- but primarily as a musician. I'm looking for any projects doing scores, songs for soundtracks, or even working on musical numbers. I can do songs "like" other songs (e.g., a song "like" a CC&R song, or "like" a Beatles song or whatever), or music to create a feeling -- suspense, anger, joy, etc. I can also do music that is a theme for a particular character.

I'm happy to work for free, or back end payout, depending on the time commitment required, as I am trying to build a resume.
