I have to say "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" is my favority funny show!
Since they've been advertising how they made a pilot for $200, I thought I'd check out their site.

I didn't really steal their slogan. I'm just glad someone else is telling "filmmakers" to just make the film and stop waiting around.
I hear so many beginners ask "how will I know when I'm ready?" or "when should I start making films?"
I tell them to stop waiting around and just do it! Go make that film. Upload it and we'll tell them what could be improved. By just doing it, they will learn a lot more thab lurking around in forums.

Yeah I often say the worst thing I ever did was to go to Uni and study film. I'd made 40 shorts before Uni (inc an attempt at a feature) and 4 whilst I was there - all probably my worst and least interesting to make films.

It took me 3 years to get back my motivation. I'm not saying its bad - I leant AVID, BetaSP and DigiBeta for a start BUT it didnt help me. Each to their own I guess...
