JGL confirmed for "The Dark Knight Rises", but for what part? -- The Filmsmith

Rumors, rumors, rumors. It was interesting to see that two well established sources had differing information. Is that part of the plan perhaps? I don't know enough about the comic series to be able to put forth an idea on the role Joseph Gordon-Levitt would play but either way, I'm sure he will nail the part.
