Is Sony hdr ax2000e compatible with final cut express 4?

I really want to buy this camera but unless it works with final cut express , I can't commit to it, just bought a brand new iMac . So they have to be compatible .

Final Cut is picky about its video files. It doesn't work well with files that aren't .mov. You'll probably have to transcode the files in order to use them. The other camera you were looking at, the GY-HM100, records in native .mov, which can be a nice time saver.
