Is Manchester International Film Festival a scam?

- I am unable to obtain any reply by email from them.
- I am unable to obtain anything but an answerphone on their landline.
- My bank's investigation suggests to them that they are not legitimate.
- They list their screenplay contest on Film Freeway but not on Withoutabox
- Their web site is amateurish.
- They state that they are International yet then require films to be
confirmed as British.
- 32 Bulkeley Road is a terraced house, last purchased on 12 May 2010 for a
meagre 168,200 pounds sterling.
