Hello everyone!
I would like to start by saying that I am NOT a indie film director or producer, but I am helping a client (for a class project) generate a following for an independent narrative film titled "The Long-Term Side Effect". My client's name is Dannie Snyder, and she is a young George Mason Alum with an up and coming production company. After graduating from George Mason University a few years ago, Snyder created her own production company called LIV Creations. In 2012, she is planning on debuting her first feature film and is hoping to have it viewed at the South by Southwest film festival this spring. Since LIV Creations is a small production company with limited experience in the film department, generating support for her film is crucial.
"The Long-Term Side Effect" is a film that explores the pressures of change and time. The main character, Lei Kelly, is diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and is given a cure that not only cures her cancer, but also keeps her from aging. The film explores Lei's struggle to adapt to the changes and take control of her life while also exploring her relationships with other people.
