In a nutshell, FilmScreenr is a new VOD platform enabling filmmakers to rent their film and receive 100% of the profit in return. We're offering our beta testers (you!) three months of service for free. After that, you may cancel, or continue using the platform to rent your film for $25 per month for features or $15 per month for shorts.
Some of our top features:
We do add 99 cents onto each rental, which is paid for by the person renting your film. This allows us to absorb the PayPal fees and cover our bandwidth costs. So, if you set your price at $3.00, it would be listed for $3.99. After each rental, you immediately get $3.00 (100% of your rental price) deposited in your PayPal account.
In addition to providing a platform to rent your film, we also offer a comprehensive filmmaker dashboard showing visitor statistics, rentals stats and more.
Lastly, to make sure your film gets seen, we list all films in our Netflix style directory, sorted by genre, so independent film aficionados can find your film while browsing their favorite categories on our website. Soon we'll also be available on Roku, iPad/iPhone and Android devices as well.
