Hi all--
I just put up an essay at KDK12 about how indie filmmakers (particularly horror filmmakers, but a lot of it applies broadly) can help us, the audience, be more supportive of indie movies. I'd really like some feedback on it. It's based on nothing more than my experiences over the past several months trying to get our indie showcase together, but I know these strategies make a big difference in my ability to see films and get behind them, and I know others that think the same, so perhaps it will be helpful.
I'd appreciate anyone having a look and giving me feedback, either here or on the KDK12 site. The lovely thing about blogging is that it can change after it's published, so if I get some good suggestions, I'll be more than willing to incorporate and give credit where credit's due.
