Im implimenting Muzzle Flashes from Det. Films, in Sony Vegas.. And..

Hey guys. First off, I hope all is well with everyones' health, family, and career.

Here is my problem. Now, I watched a few tutorials about how to impliment muzzle flashes. All seems great. However, when I render my film to 24p Wide screen (2-3 Pulldown). My muzzle flashes are out of place. For example, on my timeline, when I view my footage, the muzzle flashes are perfectly placed at the end of my muzzle, when I render the footage, it may be too far away, or too close.

Am I doing something wrong?

thanks in advance.

Additional info: I shot on an XH-A1 SD, 16:9. I edit with sony vegas 8 pro. I got muzzle flashes from detonationfilms

Hello,
Not sure if this helps or not, I'm a newbie Special Effects artist myself, but when you opened up your project initially, did configure the settings to 24p? If you started the project under Full Screen settings, and try to render it as Wide Screen, you may experience some issues. I use Adobe Premiere, not Vegas, so I'm not sure how fickle Sony is.
