I have $2100. Best DSLR + Lens in that range. Opinions?

I have some money saved to invest in a DSLR. Any set-up you recommend in that price range, please do share! Strictly for purposes of capturing great video.

Also I borrowed a 7D with stock lens and shot an 80's style action movie. Check it out if you'd like!

I also vote for the hacked GH2 and Voigtlander 25mm f/.95. You said your budget is only for a camera, should I assume you already own sound and lighting equipment?

Got sound covered. I usually rent lights but I got four small LED's for something quick. I'm sorry, what constitutes a hacked GH2? In advance, thanks for the responses you guys.

I'm with NathanH on the rig and follow focus except I have a 60D (unhacked thank you). The 60D is somewhere between the 7D and the T2i and T3i. I like it and think it gives me a nice quality picture.

How is sound covered? What gear or who is handling it for you?

I got a friend at a production house in LA so I have pretty easy access to Rode booms, lavs, couple of zooms, sound booth with a couple of shures. Really i'm just looking to invest in best video possible

Ha yeah good point. I usually work with my cousin who is a recording engineer and basically a "audio" snob. So he's certainly an above average means to capture good audio.
