how to make a documentary trailer

Hello,

Would some kind soul please point me to some tips/instructions on how to make an effective documentary trailer? The film is done, but the trailer is doing my head in.

To answer your question, I think it's just a simple question of condensing the movie down to it's simplest factors. In one brief sentence, what exactly is this movie about, and how do you convey that in less than 60 seconds?
