In a documentary (or in a mockumentary, I guess ) sometimes there are segments where there's a video of something and a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG monologue from the narrator. Like 15 minutes long.
How is that formatted in a screenplay? Do you write "NARRATOR" for the character and just write it all in one unreadable wall-of-text? Do you split the monologue into several pieces and write "NARRATOR" for each? Or is there some specific format I don't know about?
Mind you, since I'm writing for myself, it doesn't actually matter too much, but I'd love to know how this is supposed to work.
