How do I shorten a crossfade in Premiere Pro.

Google has info on crossfades, but I cannot find a site that tells you how to shorten them. The defaults are just simply too long for most cases, and if I could shorten a cross fade down to 5 milliseconds about, that would be great. Thanks.

If I remember right, you're using Premier Pro? Just click and drag so the effect is shorter on the time line.

set the marker on the cross fade, zoom the timeline all the way in. click on the crossfade, at this point you will shorten it just like any audio or video clip, by clicking and dragging

Oh okay, thanks I think I got it. Thanks, that seems to work so far. And yes Premiere Pro, sorry forgot to mention.
