How Can I Improve My Film Making? (Need all opinions!)

Hey guys, in this post is a very short video I made about 10 (I think) months ago. I know there are some problems with it, like the tracks I put in were poorly placed, and the scope on the sniper could have been done much better. Other than that, can you guys please tell me how to improve my videos in the future? Anything would be appreciated.. I want to be the best that I can. Thanks guys!

At the risk of sounding unintentionally snarky, you improve your film making the same way you improve any skill;

1. Study
2. Practice
3. Learn from your mistakes
4. Go back to step 1

Alternately, hire professionals.

Good luck.

Well I thought some of the shots were cut off, such as the actor's heads going out of frame. Sometimes of course it's intentional, but I am guessing on your shots, you did not intend it. Have the person behind the camera, to be ready to move the camera, up, down, left, or right, if the shot needs to move to something else, but don't cut off the actors' heads for the whole shot. Backing up the camera would help, as it's kind of possibly too close. Unless of course there is a reason for it.

Some shots though it works stylistically, such as for the guys hiding behind the trees, and not seeing there heads, but you see their arms holding the guns. I do like some of your pans when the actors run, and I do like your shots that zoom in and out though. What lens did you for that?
